(Irvine, California) – January 13, 2016 – Today, Mona Lisa Faris, founder of DiversityComm, Inc.—now celebrating its 25th year—announced the launch of her sixth digital and print diversity publication, DIVERSEability Magazine. The premiere issue will be available mid-April 2016, featuring Melissa Stockwell, Iraq War Veteran and Amputee, as the cover story! Articles in this issue include: Don't Dis Me, Taking the 'Dis' out of Disability, What is Disability Inclusion?, Top Cities for Disability, 5 Reasons to Hire the Abled, Water Park in the Works for Special Needs, Hotel Centered Around Workers with Special Needs, The Power of Image, How to Travel the World in a Wheelchair, The Importance of Getting Certified, and much more!

More than just a publication raising awareness and providing educational, employment and business opportunities, DIVERSEability Magazine is a movement, celebrating advancements and achievements and showcasing the positive images of all people with all types of abilities.

Published semi-annually every April and October, DIVERSEability Magazine features pertinent editorial content designed to enhance the personal and professional lives of people with all abilities. Every issue features articles on workforce diversity for the recruiter, careers for the applicant, education, health, business, DOBEs, conferences and events, lifestyles, advocates for change, advancements in technology and more. A valuable diversity & inclusion resource, the magazine will reach students and professionals of all ages and all multicultural audiences.

"We stand with the advocates who are taking the 'dis' out of disability, because today there are more than 25 million Americans—myself included—overcoming many types of so-called 'disabilities' every day, and we much prefer to celebrate our accomplishments," explained publisher Faris. DIVERSEability Magazine is working with some of largest disability-focused organizations, including USBLN, YAI, ADA, JAN, CSUN, SDS, NBDC, AAPD, COSD and many more, to assist in distribution, information, statistics, visibility, and exposure and to be a podium to spread the word.

"This subject hits home for me, because I live with what was diagnosed as a learning 'disability' and I care for a close family member with special needs. Through our powerful and positive articles, I want to motivate, inspire and educate our readers about all abilities," Faris related.

This latest addition to our family of diversity publications, DIVERSEability Magazine is founded on the premise that policies and programs that support disability inclusion and diversity inclusion are critically overdue. "Diversity is the answer to success," said Faris.
