Your Voice, Our Platform: Empower Diversity with Your Editorial

Basic Info

Contribute content for our website or print publications. Submissions may or may not be published. Publication does not guarantee any monetary compensation.

Content Specs

  • All articles should be a minimum of 550 words and a maximum of 1000 words in Times New Roman, size 12 font and single spaced. Depending on the number of images you choose to include, this will take up anywhere from half of a page (550) to two pages.
  • Provide a two-line author bio to accompany your submission, as well as a headline and subhead of no more than five words each.
  • Per DiversityComm Inc.’s Style Guide, we do not use Oxford commas or double spaces after periods.
  • Include the author’s byline (ex: By John Smith) if necessary.
  • Stories submitted should be educational, not promotional. While businesses and companies can be mentioned throughout your piece, it should not read like an advertisement. Any stories that are overtly promotional will not be published. Content must be within your area of expertise and please include links and sources for any stats referenced.
  • One hi-res headshot of writer is required and may or may not be included with published content. Please ensure it is a professional headshot of minimum 1MB size, 300 dpi and JPEG format.
  • All content submissions may be edited at the discretion of our editorial department. All content must be published solely for DiversityComm, Inc. and must not have appeared elsewhere within the last 12 months.

Images

  • All images you wish to include with your piece must be at least 1000 KB (1 MB). Typically, anything taken on an iPhone will meet this standard.
  • All images must include a caption. They may or may not be used for the piece but are always helpful for our editorial team in the layout process.
  • Please include photo credits for all photos (who took the photo and/or who owns the photo).

File Upload

  • Please submit your story as a Word document, not a PDF or embedded into an email. Please do not embed any photos into your Word document or PDF.
